Earlier this year, our research revealed that shopping centres are now the most challenging public place for mums to breastfeed – having overtaken transport. At Lansinoh, we are committed to supporting mums to feed confidently, and want to champion mums to feel more comfortable breastfeeding whilst out shopping.
Therefore, we’re delighted to announce that we have partnered with our local shopping centre, Trinity Leeds, to renovate its family rooms – creating a relaxing and welcoming environment where mums can enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle of shoppers, to breastfeed their baby.
Through our partnership, two of Trinity’s family rooms have seen a total refurbishment, including new wall vinyl's, comfier seating for mum, improved lighting and even free Lansinoh products.
As mums ourselves, we know it can be daunting to know where to go to breastfeed when out shopping with baby, so it’s important that mums have access to comfortable breastfeeding facilities within shopping centres, and just as importantly, that they know these facilities are actually available.
This ties in with our annual ‘Feed with Confidence’ awards, which we have been running since 2017, to encourage breastfeeding outside of the home and ultimately, to support mums to breastfeed for longer.
