Incredibly lightweight, our silver nipple shields can be used in between feeds or pumping sessions to soothe sore, damaged nipples, while also providing a physical barrier against clothing and reducing painful friction.

After each breastfeeding session, leave a couple of breastmilk drops in each cup and apply them directly to the nipple. Before the next feed, simply remove the silver nipple cups and rinse your nipples with water before breastfeeding. Silverette can be washed with warm water and soap between each feed, with no need to sterilise.
Silverette may tarnish over time due to the natural oxidisation process that occurs in silver, however it is still safe and effective to use. To remove the tarnish, make a paste using a mix of bicarbonate of soda (one teaspoon) with a few drops of water. Rub the paste over the cups, rinse and pat dry. Do not wash Silverette in the dishwasher.
