We believe that taking responsibility for our impact on the planet is not only the right thing to do – it’s essential for the survival of our business. We will be a climate neutral business by 2030 by reducing and avoiding Greenhouse Gas emissions. We established our baseline emissions, defined and acted on reduction measures, and continue to report on our progress. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we also work with our local communities around the world to make difference.

We recognize the need to work together to achieve ambitious targets and are committed to doing our part. That's why we signed up for the Science Based Targets initiative which brings together organizations to take urgent climate action and support the Paris Agreement.

In 2015, governments worldwide signed up to the Paris Agreement which commits to preventing climate warming from reaching above 1.5°C. This is crucial to avoid more frequent and severe weather events, and the resulting poverty and dislocation of millions of people.

The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti‑corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals. By now, it’s the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world.

The Communication on Progress (COP) is the fundamental mechanism to report about progress made in implementing the Ten Principles.
