For most women post-birth bleeding (or Lochia) is heavier than your typical period so a trusted pad designed by experts should be top of your recovery kit.
After childbirth many mums suffer from varying degrees of soreness around the perineum and beyond. Our range of hot and cold products fit close to your body and can help to relieve those sore areas when you need it most.
You can use the Cold & Warm Post-Birth Relief Pad with maternity pads. Simply fit your maternity pad first, then apply the Cold & Warm Post-Birth Relief Pad within a hygiene sleeve on top for effective pain relief.
Most new mums will bleed for up to 6 weeks after giving birth so maternity pads with wings for extra protection are recommended. Like period pads they will require changing as needed, or around every 4 hours, so it’s likely you’ll need around 250 maternity pads over this period.
