Lansinoh’s LatchAssist® Nipple Everter helps breastfeeding by gently drawing out a flat or inverted nipple so your baby can achieve a good latch and feed comfortably and successfully.

In the early days after birth, you may experience engorgement or swollen breasts – a temporary condition that can make breastfeeding difficult or uncomfortable. Your skin may also stretch so that your nipples become flattened where they used to protrude. If your baby is unable to get a flat nipple into the correct position to breastfeed, getting enough milk is not easy and can be frustrating and upsetting for both mums and babies. Using our nipple everter, mums can gently draw the nipple out just long enough for baby to grasp the nipple and areola and establish a good latch, the first step in successful breastfeeding.

  • Gently draws nipple out to allow baby to grasp and establish a good latch
  • Easy to apply one-handed
  • Supplied with a small case for hygiene and portability

To use our Lansinoh Nipple Everter, first select the LatchAssist™ size that is most comfortable, then with your baby in position to breastfeed, gently squeeze the bulb and place the cone over your nipple. Slowly release the bulb until your nipple is extended and your baby can easily latch on to the breast.

Wash before and after use in hot, soapy water. Rinse and air dry. Replace back into the case ready for next use.

Includes 1 silicone bulb, 2 sized cones and a hygienic carry case.

FAQ

As the LatchAssist™ will not hold any breastmilk, or come into contact with baby, there is no need to sterilise your nipple everter. It should however be washed before each use in hot soapy water and air dried.

This was moderately helpf

This was moderately helpful in drawing out the nipple and did assist in getting a good latch. I suspect with longer term use, it would produce a more long-lasting effect, but I cant attest to that. The device is easy to use and relatively portable.

A simple enough device de

A simple enough device designed to help baby latch on for feeding. You squeeze the purple pump end to expel the air from it, place the open end over the nipple and then release the purple end. This creates the suction that draws the nipple out in preparation for feeding. It can be used single handed which is obviously important and we found it to definitely help.
